SINCE Paul Morley’s enthusiasm for true musical talent is matched only by his attraction to talent of the more colloquial kind (apparently only bullets can stop him), it was really just a matter of time before the stunning ANNE PIGALLE was signed to ZTT Records. A French chanteuse in the spirit of Piaf, Anne has lived in London for some time, sharing a flat in Shepherd’s Bush with the likeable and much-in-demand session musician Nick Plytas. Since the pair of them are no doubt about to become hugely successful, this seems an appropriate time to correct an error in the first piece we wrote about them back in February ‘83. Henry, their dog, is in fact a dalmatian and not a labrador. Sorry, Henry.
