Frankie floors America
Top British pop group Frankie Goes to Hollywood went to Chicago… and brought the house down.
The floor in front of the stage caved in as hundreds of excited fans jumped up and down to the music.
Only quick thinking by security fans at the city’s Bismark Theatre prevented a tragedy.
They pushed the screaming youngsters away from the danger.
The concert had to be stopped for an hour while fireman shored up the floor.
Then the band, who are in the middle of their debut American tour, carried on.
The band also revealed plans for their first-ever British dates. Guitarist Brian Nash said: “We’re playing three dates at Liverpool’s Royal Court in December.
