ANNE PIGALLE Glasgow
TONIGHT, ANNE Pigalle probably wished she was back in France where they can appreciate more than just the accent.
We watched in horror as Anne stepped onstage to an instant barrage of abuse from two HA (heavy alloy) hooligans, and while she continued to perform to around 60 sympathisers hiding in the darkest corners it was only to be humiliated by the steward doing his bucket and mop routine… on the dancefloor!
And we watched in pity as poor Pigalle retreated to the dressing room. But then, what’s a handful of old fashioned songs from an old fashioned girl between friends? A damn sight more appealing in any place other than this. No regrets?
