Who the **** is Holly Woodlawn? Seems that ‘Holly’ of Frankie Goes To Hollywood (lawn?) got his name from this person. How come nobody else has ever heard of her then?

The Frankies’ William Johnson was apparently dubbed ‘Holly’ in honour of said Ms (?) Woodlawn, who was a protegé of Andy Warhol’s, as well as being an actor, singer, cabaret artiste and transvestite.
